Resistance wire is a specially developed alloy wire, which combines uniform heating effect and excellent corrosion resistance. It can provide alloy with high temperature up to 1200 degree C. They are made of gauges, such as AWG or SWG, metric or British diameters, or, more commonly, specific linear resistors in ohms/meters or ohms. They can be solid, round or flat, twisted or bundled, with diameters ranging from 3.25 mm to 0.06 mm.
Some conductors even have high temperature resistance coefficient, in which resistance increases with temperature, so they have a small "self-limiting" effect. When the wire is heated by the current or voltage applied to the circuit, this change in resistance can also be used to allow the measurement of the temperature reached by the wire during the heating cycle, thereby allowing additional temperature or power control.
Resistance wires can be manufactured according to British standards, such as BS115 - "Specification for Metal Resistance Materials for Electrical Use" and BS1117 - "Specification for Bare Resistance Wires for Precision Electrical Equipment" or international standards, as well as customer specifications and requirements.
Controls line resistance by using skilled production technology and closely monitoring diameter. To create high quality products by drawing with tungsten carbide or diamond drawing die. This is the requirement to draw the correct line diameter accurately.
